Fridays are for sharing weekend inspiration And today it's coming straight from a movie that's my evergreen favourite – 'The Intern.' Directed by Nancy Meyers, it's the kind of film that's like a comfy old book on your shelf - you keep going back to it. Set in the bustling world of e-commerce start-ups, the movie introduces us to Ben Whittaker, played by the legendary Robert De Niro. At 70, Ben's character shows us that age is not a barrier but an opportunity for embracing new beginnings. → The story introduces us to Ben Whittaker, played by the legendary Robert De Niro. Ben's decision to intern at the age of 70 is a reminder that it's never too late to hop on new adventures. → Ben's commitment to his role in a fast-growing e-commerce start-up shines a light on the importance of a strong work ethic. → Ben's role as a mentor to Jules Ostin, portrayed by the talented Anne Hathaway, shows us just how vital mentorship is. In the professional world, sharing knowledge and helping others find their stride is a path to mutual growth. → Throughout the movie, Ben also emphasizes the need for balance between work and personal life. This balance is something we all strive for, no matter what stage of our careers we're in. Now, over to you: What's that one movie you keep coming back to for its timeless lessons? Share this with your favourite intern or mentor! #TheIntern #MovieReview #Lessons

We asked Junie Fu, one of our Session 1 marketing interns, a few questions about her experience and aspirations on the Biscuit Beacon team. See her responses below! And remember you can apply for Session 2 at https://lnkd.in/gjjNuNYR before November 10th to become a part of the team just like Junie. 1. What project(s) have you worked on during Session 1? During session one I was a member of the public affairs team, which primarily dedicated to promoting our website as well as the app. My projects mainly focus on drafting the posts both visual and text. In addition to that, I am also responsible for managing brand accounts on Reddit. 2. What's your favorite part about being on the Biscuit Beacon team? My favorite part about being on the Biscuit Beacon Team is the incredible diversity among our team members, you would be able to learn more about your teammate's culture during the orientation and also get to know each other. 3. What are you most excited about for Session 2? What I'm most excited about Session two is seeing how new members contribute to the products and also want to see of progress that we will make by then!

🌟 Celebrate Intern Appreciation Day on July 25th! 🌟 Intern Appreciation Day is just around the corner, and it’s the perfect time to celebrate the amazing contributions of your summer interns! Here are two easy and impactful ways to show your interns some love: 🎁 Intern Appreciation Box (Starting at $48) This box includes tokens of appreciation and custom goodies found only at Happy Box. While it's a great gift as is, you can also customize it by adding/removing items and including a handwritten card. 🎁 Gift of Choice (Starting at $35) Not sure what they’d like? Let your interns pick their own gifts! Set your budget, include a sweet message, and upload your company logo. Your interns will receive an email to claim a gift within your set budget, but they’ll never know what you paid. 2 months deep into my 📍 Laundry Service #internship, and I'm riding a wave of gratitude for this wild ride. 🚀 I am lucky to work under Topher Hegngi - the man, the myth, the legend. 🔥 I couldn't ask for a better mentor in the marketing strategy world, and anyone who knows Topher can definitely confirm it. In fact, whenever I speak to someone from the company, the first compliment I receive isn't about my beautiful eyes or bright sweater but about my amazing supervisor. 💯 In these two months, I've tackled strategic techniques, cultural calendars, 4C research, and competitor social strategies, while crafting unique POVs. Besides mainly working on Google Chrome, I've also dived into other accounts, like creating a cultural calendar for WNBA and contributing to Android projects including crafting internal trend reports and backing research on smartphone and web browser features under Michael Mallory guidance. 📝 The first few weeks were a bit of a hustle, wrapping my head around all the marketing jargon and agency lingo. 😁 But now, looking back, I can totally see how much more confident I feel when it comes to marketing research, strategy, and POV crafting. 🔥 As my internship countdown hits the less-than-a-month mark, I'm feeling a mix of emotions — sadness and attachment to the Laundry Service culture and its fantastic folk are real. But my gratitude levels are off the charts for this amazing experience. 🧡 Yet, let's not get sentimental just yet; there's still more to conquer in the month ahead. Here's to making it count and savoring every moment! 🚀👊

Meet the Newest (and Fluffiest) Member of Our Team! 🐾 Last week, our office dynamics took a tail-wagging turn with the arrival of our newest intern. It’s been... different. But who knew a young, fresh face could bring so much joy (and a few more paw prints)? 🐕💼 Some of us are already best pals, while others... well, let’s just say it’s a work in progress. But one thing’s for sure, office life has never been cuter. What’s your vote - pawsitive addition or barking up the wrong tree? 🤣 - - - #marketingempiregroup #temecula #temeculavalley #digitalmarketingagency #digitalmarketingservices #marketinginnovation #businessmarketing #businessmarketingstrategy #theofficeparody #theoffice #theofficememes #theofficeedit #internship

Whew, where to start?... My year-long internship with Gorilla 76 ended a couple of weeks ago, and with graduation wrapping up last week, I’ve been able to reflect a bit more on this past year. And here’s what I’ve been thinking about: 1️⃣ G76 has set a HIGH bar. With rockstar teammates, a company culture with core values that are practiced and celebrated every day, an HR department that actually cares, and so much more, this first marketing experience of mine has set the standard for the rest of my career. 2️⃣ I’ve learned so much this past year It was hard to reflect on my improvement when I was in the thick of it, but it’s been a lot easier to look back on it all these past two weeks. From barely knowing anything about marketing to getting comfortable within a media buying role, I’m extremely grateful for the trust and teaching of SO many of the Gorillas who helped me get there. Nobody is less than an expert, and they’re all smart cookies. But most importantly, they were patient and kind enough to spend the time needed to get me where I am now. The moral of the story: find amazing teammates and teachers. 3️⃣ The people make the company Answering “the people” to your favorite part about the job sounds cliche, but there’s a reason it’s such a common answer. From whatever aspect, whether it’s talent, kindness, collaboration, etc, it really is the people who make Gorilla an amazing company and made this past internship such a wonderful experience. - P.S. On a final note, I’ll be setting up a Calendly around mid-June, and I would love to meet and connect with any marketers who’d be willing to share their experiences and roles. That way, I can continue to learn and meet some cool people:) So, keep an eye out for another post around then!

How many of you think this is funny? Is it really the truth? people who start as interns are considered to be working harder than the people already experienced in the field? Lets just take a look into this severe case where i've met friends and colleagues! Positioned at an Intern level, but working at an executive level! Well its good to be working at such pace and at this initial years of earning some small bucks. Dont consider any opportunity as lesser. We make our own path, to our own bright future! That I guess we all thought of in our 8th-10th grade?😅 Well even working now at a payroll of a good valued company! Still makes me feel i'm lacking somewhere, tell me about your new experiences! Lets talk about some office dramas! Than talking about who's in a relationship with whom. Lets change the topics to how to make more money! From how much of only our parents would give at the start of every week! #intern #newbeginnings #freshers #careergoals #brightfuture #linkedincommunity #linkedingrowth
