We are delighted to officially announce that Shelley Peringuey has been appointed as the College Head of Reddam House Umhlanga with effect from 1 January, 2025.
Shelley has been an integral part of the Reddam House family for many years, bringing with her a wealth of knowledge and leadership experience. Having served as Deputy Head at both Reddam House Helderfontein and Reddam House Umhlanga, she recently stepped in as the Acting College Head at Umhlanga. Shelley has consistently demonstrated her unwavering commitment to fostering an environment of academic excellence, personal growth, and student well-being.
Throughout her time with us, Shelley has been an advocate for high educational standards, while also showing her compassion and care for each student. We are confident that under Shelley’s leadership, the College will continue to grow and succeed, building on the strong foundations already in place. Her vision for the future, coupled with her commitment to maintaining our school’s values, will undoubtedly inspire our students and staff to achieve their full potential.
As College Head, Shelley will be an integral member of the Senior Leadership Team, working collaboratively with Nicky Cummings, Head of the Early Learning School, Chris Taylor, Head of the Preparatory School, and our newly appointed Executive Head, Chad Moses. Together, they will work to ensure that Reddam House Umhlanga continues to thrive, providing the highest standard of education and opportunities for all students.
