they used the mandibles to scrape along the bottom substrate, or sometime they were found jumping in the air to eat the flying insect.

4. breeding
when the males will changed their skin color to dark, spreading their fins and crawling behind or beside the females for attractions. Finally, the males would lead females to the burrow to mate.
