📖 𝗥𝗲𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗻'𝘀 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗺𝗯𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 Founded in 2022, ReCarbn’s journey began with the aim to accelerate the development of Direct Air Capture (DAC) with the potential to remove gigatons of CO₂ from the atmosphere. Our CEO and co-founder, Guus Dubbink, was inspired by the workings of Direct Air Capture (DAC) during his chemical engineering studies at the University of Twente under Professor Wim Brilman. The two kept in touch even during the start of Dubbink’s professional career. Several years later, he was still intrigued by Brilman’s research on cost-efficient CO₂ capture from the atmosphere. In the summer of 2022, Brilman launched a successful circulating solid sorbent DAC pilot, which aligned perfectly with Dubbink’s vision of DAC technology. Recognising its potential, he approached Brilman about commercialising his technology, marking the start of ReCarbn with the University of Twente as a strong ally. Fast forward to today, we are proud to have grown a team that contributed and continues to contribute to the success of ReCarbn every day! What truly sets our company apart is our energy-efficient and easy-to-scale innovative technology which can run on all-electric energy or waste heat. ReCarbn envisions a world striving for net-zero emissions, with DAC technologies enabling industries to reach carbon neutrality. Our goal is to extract 10 times as much CO₂ as we emit in our processes. 👏 Cheers to our current team Ewout Ruijs, Sophia Hummelman, Mariangela Broch Ravazio, Mark Siegers, Victoria Chung Yee, and Abhinav Srinivas. 🌟 And a special thank you to Jonne de Vries, Joana Brücks, Abdel Fattah Attamimi, and Ilja Tromer for your contributions to the company. www.recarbn.eu #ReCarbn #CarbonCapture #DAC #DirectAirCapture #Sustainability #CarbonNeutral #netzero #CDR #globalwarming #ClimateAction #greenfuture #comapnystory #ourjourney

A great story Guus Dubbink , Wim Brilman and the ReCarbn team! If I want to see the operational installation again, I should meet you in Wageningen isn’t it?
