It feels very orienting to get these thoughts down on paper. (pun intended?) Here's a bit more work on information product theory for the newsletter. Just trying to develop a sturdy intellectual framework for building forward-looking media products. I've been asked about this so often recently that I'm actually becoming a bit, dare I say, optimistic that AI media products won't be completely useless indefinitely. Also, I need to turn this line from the newsletter into a sign, for my tapping purposes: "The biggest threat to forward-looking product development in media is well-connected outside soothsayers speaking directly to your executives over golf and making sexy promises."
