I dropped my son off for school this morning and my daughter and I went and had breakfast at a local McDonald's. And we played games. And we hassled each other. And she rolled her eyes almost out of the back of her head a few times and we laughed really hard. And a few times when she was crawling U this thing in the playground I got choked U because I love that girl more than life itself. And that's how dads are supposed to treat their daughters.
The moment one becomes a father or mother your life is over as you know it, now it begins for your children; for the next 18 years you are committed and responsible for that person, when they go on their own as adults the full responsibility ends but the love is eternal.

I think creating time for kids is important, but kids use mobile & screentime because its interesting for them. We need to find things that are interesting for kids and can help engage them independently and safely.
I like to use the analogy of food. Kids like to eat junk food because its tasty. Our parents generation devised ways to trick kids into eating healthy using paratha pizza, rolls and what not. I have even found parents preparing their own tomato ketchup which is full of crushed veggies. We need to apply this innovative thinking to screentime.
Can we find screentime that involves the kids, engages their mind, encourages movement and brain development? I think the answer is yes. The gold standard for media i.e. Common Sense Media has a page dedicated for this: https://lnkd.in/g26VycNJ.
If you're a parent & tired of unhealthy screentime and want to trick your kids into healthy screentime, try Kidovo. Here's a link to download the app & try it: https://lnkd.in/grCHUiWe. If our app helps you & your family convert passive & unhealthy screentime into interactive & healthy screentime, please DM me & I'll be happy to extend your free trial.
