It’s happening. The industry is making its switch. In 20-30 years into the future this is what every single new aircraft rolling off the assembly lines will look like. The fleets of tomorrow will be unrecognizable compared the ones of today. This is really the first time since the introduction of the 707 that new aircraft look substantially different than the ones a few years prior. I am personally not a fan of the design of these new prototype and project aircraft like the ones in the photo or the ones by Embraer. But, we can’t be stuck in the present, innovation must carry on. #aviation #airbus #boeing #boeing737 #boeing737 #airport #airplane #airlines #airlineindustry #jsx
Red is the new green: today, we've announced our order for up to 332 hybrid-electric aircraft, joining the JSX fleet as early as 2028. Comprised of the Electra.aero 9-seat eSTOL, the 19-seat AURA AERO Era, and the Heart Aerospace 30-seat ES-30, today’s order affirms our commitment to small communities around the nation – many of which are losing or have already lost regular air service. The low-emission, low-noise hybrid-electric airplanes we've ordered are cost effective and require little-to-no infrastructure development, meaning we can dramatically lower our operating costs and make point-to-point regional connectivity an eco-responsible reality. Since JSX can serve over 2,000 federally funded airports while network airlines can only use 480, we’re proud to say the future of flight is looking bright! Learn more: https://bit.ly/jsxhybrid

Air traffic figures for the first nine months of 2023 show the UK aviation industry is busier than it has been since the pandemic, although still slightly below the record 2019 flight numbers ✈️ In the year so far, NATS has safely managed more than 1.8m flights in UK airspace, compared with 1.6m in the same period last year, an increase of over 12%. This summer’s busiest day was 7 July with 8,010 flights, compared to the record-breaking 8,592 in July 2019 📈 More at https://bit.ly/3tiVBQ7

Supersonic flight with turbojets has a major advantage over conventional subsonic turbofan airplanes: there are NO turbulences. Ask former Concorde passengers from airlines like Air France, British Airways, or Singapore Airlines. This aspect should be more emphasized by companies like Boom Supersonic, who are relaunching supersonic transport. In addition turbulences are getting worse because of climate change. Would you pay extra for a flight with ZERO turbulence? If so, how much? Share your thoughts in the comments section.
