Global EHS Leader | Sustainability | Industrial Hygiene | Occupational Safety | Safety Culture | Lean EHS | Multi-Site EHS Leadership | Injury Prevention | Hazard Recognition
Network, Last week I had the amazing opportunity to attend the 5-Day TapRooT® Advanced Root Cause Analysis Team Leader Training. This 5 day event provided exposures to the essential TapRooT ® Techniques SnapCharT®, Safeguards Analysis, the Root Cause Tree®, the Corrective Action Helper®, CHAP & Equifactor ®. Over the course of the 5 days, we were stepped through how to complete the SnapCharT® process with sticky notes along with using the TapRooT® software. The course has provided me with a new way to deep dive into significant events on the EHS side of things. However, the Equifactor ® tool would also be useful to process or facilities engineering professionals who are looking for a method to dig deep into failures on their side of the house. Consider attending a TapRooT session if you are looking to do something different than traditional PDC’s available to EHS Professionals. Next up is to do some re-reading of the instructional materials from the week. TapRooT ® is on all of the social media platforms (including this one). However, I found the YouTube channel also helpful in the evenings as I went through the class. Youtube: https://lnkd.in/ggWs9WPP Linkedin: https://lnkd.in/gCMWFbzV Thanks to Alexander Paradies for providing instruction & facilitating our discussion this week and Joseph Cobb, CHMM, CSP for organizing the event. Note: The content above is my personal opinion. #taproot #continuingeducation #CEU
