😅 Great atmosphere at the Bergdorfmeile! Last Friday, our colleagues Max Kasparek and Veljko Vučinić represented RA Consulting at the run through the Karlsruhe mountain villages. Cheered on by numerous spectators, they crossed the finish line when the German football team scored the equalizer against Spain! In total, more than 640 runners took part over the historic distance of a Baden mile (8.88 km). 🏃♂️ 🏃♂️ We are proud of you two! At RA, we are always delighted to see our employees taking part in sporting activities and are happy to support them! 👌 #Bergdorfmeile #Karlsruhe #CorporateRunning

European Judo managers are like strategic chess players, focusing on elite competition, structured development programs, and robust support systems, ensuring their athletes excel on the global stage. In contrast, managers from other regions often play the role of resourceful innovators, emphasizing grassroots development and local competitions to nurture talent despite limited resources. This strategic foresight in Europe contrasts with the adaptive, hands-on approach seen in other parts of the world, creating a dynamic global judo landscape. https://lnkd.in/dptF8RvG

Analiza #LTTSports o inicijativi Mitropa kup i Tri mora: Treba li bosanskohercegovački nogomet biti dio toga? Sport Centar 🌐 SCsport.ba 🌍 In 2023, our #3sI concept applied to sport has made waves across Europe, starting from Poland 🇵🇱 to Greece 🇬🇷, and making a stop in Bosnia 🇧🇦. Our approach is deeply anchored in comprehensive knowledge, vast experience, robust analysis 📊, and a strong network 🤝, all aimed at crafting tailored solutions and strategies. 📝 We're excited to share an engaging article by Olivier Jarosz and Konstantin Kornakov, focusing on the historical development of football ⚽ and offering insights for the evolution of Bosnian football. 🌐 "Football – The World's Favorite Team Sport" explores football's beginnings and its spread across the globe. It underscores the pivotal role of the Danube Basin 🌊, part of the former Austro-Hungarian Empire, in the sport's popularity surge. 🎓 This region was instrumental in developing a distinctive style of play, combining tricks, tactical innovation, and team combinations. This style significantly influenced football in countries like Italy 🇮🇹 and Spain 🇪🇸. 🏆 Highlighting the legacy of renowned coaches like Hugo Meisl, Karl Rappan, and Ernst Happel, our article showcases the Danube region's profound impact on global football tactics and management. 🏅 The piece also touches on the pioneering efforts of the Danubian countries in professionalizing football. The historic Mitropa Cup 🏆, initiated in 1927, set the stage for modern club competitions and influenced the development of UEFA's club competitions. 🤔 Concluding with a thought-provoking question, we ponder if a collaborative approach akin to the #MitropaCup and the 3Seas Europe could be the key to addressing long-term challenges in football, particularly for Central European nations. ⚽🌍 We believe that a united effort in this region could reignite its footballing success, positively shaping the future of the sport in Bosnia and Herzegovina and across Central Europe. Join us in this exciting journey to redefine football's landscape! Stay tuned #21December #FootballDevelopment #EuropeanFootball #InnovationInSport https://lnkd.in/eEwMAWQJ

A few years ago the Kenyan Bronze Medalist Abel Mutai was running a cross-country race in Burlada, and just before crossing the finishing line he became confused with the signage and stopped running, thinking he had already won. The athlete behind him, Ivan Fernandez Anaya realised what had happened and began to shout at Mutai to continue running but Mutai didn’t know spanish. Catching up to him, Fernández Anaya helped to guide Mutai to the finish line, letting him cross first. Fernández Anaya came second and when he was asked by a journalist “why did you let him win?” he replied, “I didn’t let him win, he was going to win”. The journalist replied “but you could have won!” and his response was “But what would be the merit of my victory? What would be the honour of that medal?” “What would my Mother think of that?” Later, Ivan was asked what his mother's response was and he told us: "My mother was very happy with the decision I made. My parents always told me, before making a decision, put yourself in the place of the other party". "My advice to the next generations is to try to help and be great people. Remember to be remembered for the kind of person we were ... not just for our titles or professional achievements." At NorthBailey we have a wealth of experience leading retail marketing teams. We bring fresh perspective and critical thinking along with that wealth of experience. We are provocative, challenge convention, ask the difficult questions and allow clients to see their business with renewed clarity and from a different perspective. We solve business problems, but experience tells us to always ask what would my mother think as we solve them? NorthBailey https://buff.ly/49h2Hor

As someone who grew up playing competitive golf, the Ryder Cup has always been for me, the biggest spectacle, even factoring in the Major tournaments. There is just something about this event that is so captivating. I just wanted to highlight one of many unbelievable moments from this weekends Ryder Cup in Rome. Tommy Fleetwood stepped up and hit a Driver to the middle of the Green on the 16th to secure victory in that match, with only really a tiny landing spot to keep it on the green. The commentator mentions the easy shot is bailing left, but he went straight at it despite his opponent Rickie Fowler already hitting it in the water. It got me thinking, do we all have strategies in place for our day to day lives to enable us to succeed, even more so when we are up against it and the challenge might seem too big? We all have moments in our lives where we face challenges and pressure to perform, and the workplace is no exception. But it's important to remember that, with the right strategies in place, you can manage and even thrive under pressure. 1. Firstly, take a moment to recognise the pressure and accept it. This will help you to stay focused and stop feeling overwhelmed. 2. Next, break down the challenge into manageable chunks and prioritise the tasks. This will help you stay organised and on track. 📝 3. Lastly, remember to take breaks throughout the day and make sure you get enough sleep. This will help you stay energised and more productive. I am well aware I might have lost some of my audience with golf related content, but we can all take something from Team Europe's emphatic victory in Italy this week. GO TEAM EUROPE! ⛳ #ManagePressure #StayFocused #ThriveUnderPressure #teameurope #rydercup2023
