Even produce can’t escape endless plastic. Spinach often comes in plastic bags or containers, oranges are packaged in mesh, and plastic produce bags can be found on every street corner. Additionally, stickers are affixed to individual loose items. The farmers market offers the most sustainable alternative to avoid these plastic encumbrances. If a farmers market isn't accessible to you, consider bringing your own reusable produce bags and opting for unpackaged goods to reduce your plastic footprint. #PlasticFreeProduce #FarmersMarketFinds #ReducePlasticWaste
