Hi Network! I've made a few new friends and want to introduce myself. My name is Erika, I fell into administration after many opportunities presented themselves early in my career. Early on, I found that while I didn't love answering the phone for a doctor's office, I genuinely loved helping people and records management. I felt morally compelled to exercise discretion when dealing with patient confidentiality. In 2009, student interns eliminated my job, so I went to college for an A.S. in office administration. I had high hopes for my first job out of college. I learned about vendor onboarding, human resources, and project management. However, commuting for over an hour was affecting my mental health, and that wasn't the way for me. Skip to 2021: The opportunities exist! Now, I could apply for jobs I didn't have to drive to. I could get paid what I was worth, utilizing my entire skillset. In 3 years, I have gone from an accounting assistant to an office manager to an operations manager, overseeing marketing, human resources, and finance departments. Today, I've learned much and know there is more to learn. Companies are scared to hire. There is an administrative recession. AI is the only employee allowed to work remotely. I attend networking events and apply for 25 jobs/day. If you know anyone in your network who could use an intelligent woman like me on their team, I would love to talk with them about what we can accomplish.

When I started my Career almost 9 years ago as an Administrative Assistant i never thought I would have gained all the skills and experiences I have today. Ø  Having no interest in your success which is completely untrue, we establish enduring bonds with our employers and look forward to success of every organization we work for.
