I'm about to grab the tissues because it's time to share my last issue of Enable Magazine as Editor! Thankfully it's a great one to end on... Inside the November-December issue, we're helping readers prepare for the festive season whether it's advice around money, or how to cope with the added stress this time can bring. We're also catching up with key voices in the disability community like Alex Partridge, Ellie Middleton, Lucy Webster, Joseph Williams and many more, and as always, this issue is packed with engaging features on the topics that really matter to the disability community. Creating this brilliant magazine wouldn't be possible without the input and help of some lovely people and organisations. A big thanks to Ellie Middleton Elise Harvey; Lucy Webster Cora Siedlecka Jess Molloy; Maria Montessori Institute Fiona Lewis Claire B.; Link Age Southwark Sophie Wellings; Alex Partridge Niamh Rooney; Catherine Asta; Samantha Renke PGCE; Michael and Paul Disability Inclusion and LGBTQIA Advocates; Habinteg Christina McGill; Sue Calthorpe Thumb Soldiers Ltd; Dan Harris FRSA Neurodiversity in Business (NiB) - the Neurodiversity Charity; Joseph Williams ♿️🏳️🌈; Jane Hatton Evenbreak Evenbreak TalentFirst; Millie Flemington- Clare for your help on this issue. #DisabilityInclusion #Disability #DisabilityAwareness #DisabilityEmployment #Care #SocialCare #PatientCare #Mobility #DisabilityProducts #Education #Inclusion #DisabilityMotoring #DEI

National Spark the World Day works to celebrate those that inspire others. If there’s something this world and people need, it’s positivity and motivation. People who provide this wholeheartedly are at the center of celebration on this day. Paving the Way’s mission is to Educate, Empower & Prevent. This is done by providing much-needed information on the topic of human trafficking at events as well as educational programs. This is something that is generally not talked about enough in society, therefore spreading the message is vital in an effort to prevent it from continuing and to better protect the children, who are our future. Spark the World Day was created recently, in 2020 by Simon T. Bailey International Inc., whose founder is a motivational speaker among other things. While these kinds of speakers are probably the first that come to mind when discussing the holiday, they’re not the only ones that can make a significant impact on people. Anyone who pushes others to do their best and reach their goals is also actively participating in Spark the World Day. We encourage you to share the meaning behind this holiday with others as well as participate if possible! Paving The Way: https://lght.ly/akf2a00 Parent Tool Kit: https://lght.ly/n74hg08
