How AI is Revolutionizing Software Testing: A Game-Changer for SDET Roles:- Hey everyone! 👋 Let's talk tech and how AI is reshaping the game for Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) roles! Traditionally, SDETs have been the unsung heroes ensuring your apps and software run smoothly. But now, with AI stepping in, they're taking things to a whole new level! 🌟 1. Supercharged Testing :- Imagine turbocharging your testing efforts! AI tools are like sidekicks to SDETs, helping them automate testing processes smarter and faster. Bugs beware, they’re getting caught way before they cause trouble! 2. Team-Up with AI Early on 🤝 AI isn’t just a fancy addition; it’s become a BFF to SDETs and developers. They team up early in the game, spotting issues in the code before they even become problems. Talk about nipping issues in the bud! 3. Smarter Testing, Realistic Scenarios 🧠 AI’s not stopping at smart tests; it’s also helping create more lifelike testing scenarios. SDETs can generate realistic data and keep sensitive info safe while making sure your software can handle real-world situations like a pro! 4. Predicting & Preventing Bugs 🐛 Ever wish you could predict where bugs might pop up? AI’s got your back! It’s like having a crystal ball for software - helping SDETs focus testing where it matters most, preventing headaches later on. 5. Always Learning, Always Improving 📈 It's not just about today's tech; it's about keeping up with the ever-changing landscape. AI helps SDETs stay on their toes, learning and growing to make software testing better and better. So, what does this mean for you? Expect faster, more reliable software launches and fewer late-night bug scares! 🌌 Let’s embrace this AI-powered era in SDET roles and make software testing cooler than ever! Should End-to-End Testing Be Left to QA or Developers? 🤔 Some companies are shifting end-to-end testing responsibilities away from QA teams entirely, allowing developers to run these tests on their own. Uber and fintech company Earnest have embraced this counterintuitive approach, leading to faster, more reliable development cycles. But how exactly do they manage such complex testing in microservices, and what’s the secret behind their success? Check out this article to dive into their testing strategies and how shifting left has transformed their engineering workflows. 🚀 https://hubs.li/Q02QM11W0 #Microservices #ShiftingLeft #EndToEndTesting #DevOps #SoftwareTesting

I have faced resistance and lack of understanding from the people I love and care for - QA folks. My big complaint against them is that they don’t influence enough. My other complaint is that when discovering a product- they look for perfection and hence startups struggle to see the value and the vision behind it. Due to this - they dismiss a lot of new age products unless it is popular and is enforced on them by product or engineering teams. I know some QA folks who are personally paying and using bug reporters without letting their company know because they think a senior will say “you don’t have permission”. No surprise that Jerry Weinberg said the most important skill for a tester is courage. I would like to believe the times are changing. I showed the demo of Bugasura Testpert (not yet publicly launched but in private alpha) over the last couple of demos and QA Testers on the demo call appreciated the product. Wait what? I was shocked. I was ready for resistance. I was ready with a battery of responses. None of them were needed. What’s Testpert and why did they love it? Testpert is 3 things Context driven testing Growth driven testing Moolya way of testing Enabled by A.I. This is a product with Testing in the front and A.I. in the back as compared to products that put A.I. in the front and testing in the back. This is the first time I am demoing it and was anxious and prepared for answering being told this doesn’t help. Most products built to solve QA have shitty UX UI. Look at most bug trackers, they suck. The people on demo saw the simple clean UX UI and apppreciated it. Wow! I am glad to be alive seeing Testers and QA folks transform to be influencers and appreciate early stage products. I am not making this product available for public view. What many of us fail to understand is AI products for business is not sign up and start using. It requires 3 months to setup, train, callibrate and then become useful. So, am doing an invite only demos to companies and leaders with a vision and understanding of testing. Love you team Bugasura ❤️

Don’t you hate it when you build an amazing product (at a coffee shop) and the users find a way to break it? We’ve been there… and will be again. Here’s what we’re doing to help prevent this. Building a product for the masses is extremely tricky. There are so many smart and brilliant normal people that are going to take your product, flip it upside down, swipe out of it during important api calls, and oh yea, not enter data properly. There is nothing more important than user testing you’ve been told. But wait… there is. Welcome the job of QA. An overlook position in the tech industry, but an incredibly important one is the QA (quality assurance) What do they do? Quite simply, they break your product. In our case, our app. They press our buttons. They enter in terrible data. And most importantly, they do the unexpected to our product. This is your first line of defense against the market. If you’re building an app, SaaS product or anything tech related, we can’t recommend enough getting a good QA to break it. They’ll do what the developers won’t, which is find the holes in what they built. Seriously though, this is (in our opinion) the best defense for a strong market ready product. How do you find a good QA? We’re not sure! Let us know if you do. (so we can steal them) Stay bug free out there! Cheers #qa #tech #app #saas #startup
