Jochen Endle, Our Head of Communications & Marketing recently visited the Guadajoz & Las Coronadas PV sites currently being constructed by Q ENERGY near Córdoba, Spain. These impressive sites, each generating 52.5 MW for a combined total of 105 MW, feature 197,000 bifacial modules built on trackers. With more than 90 people working across the expansive 200-hectare area, their dedication is truly admirable. A special thank you to Manuel Castillejos, Juan José Megias Alvarez, and Francisco Gutierrez for their warm hospitality and informative tour. ☀️ #QENERGY #renewables #renewableenergy #power #greenenergy #energy #transformingenergy #energytransition #pv

Why are training and education so crucial for a safe and reliable operation of a PV system? And why is it of particular importance in light of PV connectors and PV wiring strategies? I had an interesting exchange with PES Solar during which I explored the reasons for connection failures and the key role that proper training plays in ensuring the long-term performance of our PV projects. This is where our STÄUBLI Training Academy comes in. Read the full article for a deeper understanding and let me know if you have any questions!
Why is safety a priority for the solar industry? Why are meticulous handling methods and installation procedures of the smallest components in photovoltaic systems so important? PES wanted to find out more about this topic by talking to Dominic Buergi, Global Head of Services Renewable Energy at PV connector market leader STÄUBLI. PES: Thanks for taking time to speak to us today, Dominic. A few years ago, Stäubli launched an awareness campaign entitled ‘Small components. Big impact’ taking a closer look at the role of photovoltaic connectors. What’s the reason for that? Dominic Buergi: Thank you for this question. First, I would like to look at a few facts and figures. With a 37% share, solar power represents the largest part in renewable energy worldwide and also leads capacity growth with an increase of 32%. So, photovoltaics plays an important role in generating reliable, affordable and clean energy. #solar #solarenergy #solarpower #PVconnectors #renewables #renewableenergy #pvcomponents #energy #energytransition STÄUBLI Staubli Corporation PES Solar Stefanie Rago Roberta Guidetti Mikko Bergqvist Anita Luks Dennis Poppe Marcos Arteaga Zarraua Dorothée Kössler Olivier Etienne Haldi Eric Ast-Comoli Brian Mills Matthias Schuerch Matthias Mack Guido Volberg

Ever considered the heartbeat of your PV system? Each component, regardless of size, is critical to the success of your PV system. In a field as dynamic as PV, staying ahead means paying attention to details that can risk spoiling it. In my in-depth interview with PES Solar, I describe the importance of eBOS (electrical balance of system) applications. It's fascinating how STÄUBLI innovations and global presence with the Original #MC4 connector are key to the industry's growth. Have you experienced the impact of DC connectors on PV system reliability firsthand? I'm curious about your comments! #PVsystems #solarpower #innovations #globalpresence #reliability
In this exclusive PES Solar interview, Andrea Viaro, Global Head of large-scale systems at PV connector market leader Stäubli Renewable Energy, provides valuable insights into development since he joined the company, as well as wider trends in the field of photovoltaics. ☀ Why are electrical components so vital in a #photovoltaic system? ☀ Just as a body cannot function without veins, a photovoltaic system cannot operate without essential components. When we envision solar plants, we often imagine the photovoltaic (PV) modules sprawled across rooftops or spread over vast, remote areas. However, the electrical power generated by these modules must be safely, reliably, and efficiently collected and conveyed. To gain a deeper insight into what lies beneath the surface of PV modules, check out this insightful interview published by PES Solar. #renewableenery #energytransition #solarenergy #originalMC4
