Dom was a debutant to KPI this off-season, bringing a solid foundation of athletic ability! After a well deserved end-of-season holiday period, Dom spent 4 weeks training with us both on and off the pitch and made great strides to put him in a great position ahead of the 23-24 football season with Blackpool. See a few highlights below: 🔲 Movement control - 38 to 47 ( 19%) An area of priority for us. Dom has the engine of a Ferrari, but to get the most out of him, clever movement skills training was required. A large focus on hip and trunk stability was made and he sure saw the benefits! 🔲 Power - 55 to 65 ( 15%) “Train your strengths”, if it’s good make it better! Dom sure did that! 🔲 Strength - 57 to 63 ( 10%) Some great improvements in such a short period of time. Want to make gains like Dom? If you want to get faster then you have to sprint 🏃♂️ Sprinting twice a week will improve your top speed, acceleration, and agility. It helps develop explosive power, mimicking the quick bursts of movement required on the field. Regular sprinting will also decrease risk of injury. Jumping, lifting and other accessories will supplement your sprinting.
