WHO, WHAT, HOW in action this morning! Diving deep into the vast ocean of marketing has always been a passion of mine. Whether listening to the latest podcast episodes or devouring books written by marketing gurus, I've always been searching for knowledge that I can apply to the hospitality industry. At The Towpath, we've meticulously designed our business model around three pillars: 1️⃣ WHO- The Ideal Guest - Our focus always begins with understanding our clientele. We affectionately call them our 'Towpathers'. These are the folks who resonate with our brand's essence and are at the core of everything we do. 2️⃣ WHAT - Pursuit of GOAT (Greatest Of All Time) - Just like in sports, where athletes strive to be the best, we too aim to perfect our proprietary product. The goal is to achieve or work towards the GOAT status, ensuring our WHAT offering is second to none. 3️⃣ HOW - The Offer - We believe in giving people a taste of what we offer in our membership. That's why we came up with: “Be a Towpathers for a day!” This unique trial lets people experience our VIP stack for free, and they're usually hooked. I recall Russell Brunson sharing a nugget of wisdom in the run-up to Funnel Hacking live this year: about 30% of sales materialise at the end of a campaign. At first, this sounded intriguing. However, as we transitioned to our new website and signalled the closure of our previous offer, our voucher sales saw a massive spike. Within merely hours, the numbers were almost echoing Russell's 30% theory. This was more than just a statistical coincidence; it was a testament to the efficacy of strategic marketing and following a strategy rather than tactics. Now, the moment I've been working towards!
