To mark the occasion, we decorated our offices in London, and team members had the opportunity to enjoy some delicious #Pride Cupcakes from Lola's Cupcakes, in support Switchboard - National LGBTQ Support Line At Purespring, we aim to foster an equitable and inclusive workplace where everyone is free to be themselves as we work towards our shared goal, reflective of our core values – respect and be respected. Have you heard of rainbow washing? It's a term that refers to companies or organizations jumping on the LGBTQ pride bandwagon without truly supporting the cause. In essence, it's when brands exploit the rainbow symbol for profit and marketing purposes while failing to uphold the values of diversity, inclusion, and equality. For instance, a clothing company slaps a rainbow flag on its products during Pride Month but lacks policies supporting LGBTQ employees and remains silent on critical issues affecting the community. This is #rainbowwashing in action, and it's essential to recognize and challenge such actions. As a company that values employee wellness, genuine support goes way beyond symbolism.
