People rarely ask me why I enjoy working in the life science industry. Either because we're in the same ecosystem and they already know the answer. Or because they're not, and then they don't think about #lifescience at all. But when I do get the question, the answer is simple: I get to work in the ecosystem that solves the big health issues facing us today and in the future. Real solutions to real problems. Who wouldn't want to be a part of that? One of the companies that exemplifies this is BioArctic. Imagine that a small home-grown Swedish company would be the first to succeed in an area of #CNS where everyone else has failed: to put an #Alzheimer's treatment on the market that alleviates symptoms and slows down the disease's progress! I really appreciate the opportunity to visit #BioArctic's lab yesterday on the invitation of Harald Borgeke, in connection with our regular meeting for SwedenBIO's working group for #publicaffairs and #communications. 🌍 I have exciting News for the Antimicrobial Resistance community! 🌍   I am thrilled to announce that I will join GenoWrite as a media correspondent for the upcoming World Anti-Microbial Resistance Congress alongside Paul Naphtali, MSc, Emily Bordeleau, and Shua Kim!   The congress, held in Philadelphia this year, will bring together the brightest minds and leading voices in the fight against antimicrobial resistance (AMR). As part of my coverage, I will emphasize two critical pillars in the fight against AMR: government policy and biotech.
