Targeted protein degradation #tpd is really picking up speed, and its role in drug research is huge. It's something we can't ignore. Projected to reach £3.6 billion by 2027, this sector is not merely thriving financially but also making big strides in scientific innovation. As the director of a life sciences recruitment company, I find this progression particularly significant. Beyond the concept of "molecular glue," the industry is actively seeking new ways to dispose of unwanted proteins, with implications for treatments in diseases, most prominently cancer.
