Great to be part of the very popular Diplosphere conference 2023 'Images of the Future' to discuss the increasingly crucial part that AI is going to play in all of our lives.. and how to ensure that transformation is as positive (and safe) as it can be. Really enjoyed the opportunity to unpack how regulation might be synergistic with innovation, rather than holding it back.. as long as it does done well. From the discussion the idea emerged that maybe, just maybe, leaving the status quo could be more of a drag on local adoption and innovation with AI, than adopting a nimble regulatory system that gives industry and users clarity.
