Cette organisation gérée par des étudiants s'efforce de promouvoir l'éducation financière des étudiants noirs en les exposant au domaine de la gestion active des investissements et en leur offrant du mentorat professionnel. Merci d’encourager la prochaine génération de leaders noirs! ------------- Last month, we had the pleasure of supporting the BLK Capital Management, Corp conference in NYC. The student-run organization strives to promote the financial education of Black college students by exposing them to the field of active investment management and providing professional mentorship. Plus tôt aujourd’hui, notre présidente et cheffe de la direction Deborah K. Orida a été invitée à prendre la parole au Cercle canadien de Montréal, un forum rassemblant des leaders issus du milieu des affaires au Canada. Dans le cadre d’une discussion informelle animée par Maryse Bertrand, Ad. E. MSc (RM), membre de notre conseil d’administration, Deborah a souligné le parcours de croissance d’Investissements PSP, ainsi que l’ambition renouvelée de l’organisation d’élever ses aspirations dans un monde d’investissement en évolution. Elle a également discuté de l’approche de placement à long terme qui positionne notre organisation en vue de lui permettre de s’acquitter de son mandat important. Orida, was invited to speak at the Cercle canadien de Montréal, a forum gathering leaders from the business and professional communities in Canada. During a fireside chat moderated by Maryse Bertrand, Ad. E. MSc (RM), PSP Investment’s board member, Deborah shared insights on PSP Investments’ journey of growth as well as its renewed ambition to elevate its aspirations amidst shifting global dynamics. She also discussed the long-term investment approach that positions our organization to fulfill its important mandate. Congratulations Deborah and thank you for your leadership!

Last week, we had the privilege of hosting Job Shadow Day, in collaboration with our partner WCM. We were happy to welcome over 70 female and gender-diverse students from high-schools and colleges (CEGEPS) to our Montreal office. The not-for-profit organization aims to enhance inclusion within the finance industry by amplifying a diverse talent pool. Our team was delighted to shed light on the investment landscape and spark interest in the next generation. Thank you for your commitment! -------------------------- La semaine dernière, nous avons eu le privilège d’organiser la Journée d’observation professionnelle, en collaboration avec notre partenaire WCM. Nous étions heureux d’accueillir plus de 70 étudiantes et personnes de genres divers, issu.e.s d’écoles secondaires et de CEGEPs, dans nos bureaux de Montréal. L’organisation à but non lucratif vise à renforcer l’inclusion dans l’industrie financière en valorisant un bassin de talents diversifiés.
