Quantum Computing promises exponential speedup in the computational capabilities for certain types of problems. However, due to the limited capacity of the current generation of NISQ devices, practically useful applications are not feasible. In this talk, Dr Nitin Shivaraman from the Computing & Intelligence department at A*STAR's Institute of High Performance Computing (IHPC) will explore the paradigm of distributed quantum computing to increase the utility of existing NISQ devices and cater to the future increase in computational demand.
