It was joyful to watch a great team in action over Christmas…and the magic seemed to be in playing to their strengths.
My youngest son is an amazing cook and loves it…so he cooked up a feast. My daughter-in-law is very creative and organized, and had us all playing crazy games…with prizes so competition was high…as was the laughter and fun quotient.
Our youngest granddaughter created a charcuterie board for snacks Christmas Day —-and the eldest created one on Boxing Day. The youngest grandson set the table for supper, took garbage out, took dogs out, etc… two of us put food away, loaded the dishwater, etc…and our youngest granddaughter(18) made short work of the pots/pans (her happy place) and left the kitchen sparkling clean. Ten people went to bed full of great food, love in their hearts and a strong connection to family.
Do you intentionally play to your team’s strengths? It can pay huge dividends. #leadership #strengths #success
