The National Restaurant Association released its Restaurant Operations Data Abstract last week. The Abstract provides financial and operating data from nearly 1,000 restaurant operators nationwide and contains essential information allowing restaurants to compare themselves to peers. The key takeaway was that labor as a % of sales was 36.5% and 34% for full-service and limited-service restaurants, respectively, in 2022.
