🎉 We have some news to share 📣 We were contacted by a company. Great guy named Nathan. They are interested in volunteering to help us and they're also doing a two day employee drive to raise some funds 💰with an employer match behind it ❤️ The volunteer day will be at their physical site. They will assembly cat towers, stairs, cat houses, etc. 🐈 I've also really wanted more art inside the condos & cottage, so we brainstormed - the employees have the opportunity to paint some canvases for us!! 🎨🖌 I can hear Lisa now- "paint me like a pretty French girl" This will all happen in mid June which is only a little ways away. We have created a "special, stand alone" wishlist where I'm hoping some of our supporters will help us. Every item purchased on the special wishlist is set to ship to......drum roll please 🥁..... Google 💥 Ideally we'd love to have wishlist items to them by the end of May so they can see what they're working with. After the event, delivery will be coordinated. 🚚 The Google data center about an hour out from us. My new friend Nathan follows and supports The Knot Burger Pub, as well as our page, saw the support exchange between us and reached out. Ripple effect. Karma. Sending good stuff into the universe. This is exciting stuff for our mission in caring for senior cats like Momo, Lisa, Ashley, Athena, Thomas, and Noel 🌈 as well as that one hound dog Henry 🐕 If you are not able to donate an item, please give a "like" 👍to the post to help with visibility. Dropping a link below to our special wishlist ♡ #goldenyearssanctuary #goldenyears #givingback #community #communitysupport #volunteering #seniorcat #sanctuary #rescue #rippleeffect #dogoodfeelgood #supportsmallbusiness2024 #501c3 #501c3nonprofit #nonprofitorganization #catsanctuary #catrescue #dogsandcats #catlifeisgood #catlifestyle #catcommunity

Enabling business owners to spend more time executing their strategies and less time managing finances. | Follow for insights about building businesses, accounting firms, and teams.
At HoganTaylor, generosity and community service are an important part of our culture. Every year, each employee can spend 24 hours of community service to do whatever they are passionate about. This could be: ➡️ Working at a soup kitchen ➡️ Coaching a Little League team ➡️ Volunteering at an animal shelter Over the last few months, our CEO at HoganTaylor, Randy Nail, has emphasized the need for generosity toward not only each other at the firm… … but in our communities as well. To track our efforts and make progress towards this initiative, we: ✅ Set specific annual community service goals for each office ✅ Are providing monthly volunteer opportunities for team members ✅ Are hosting quarterly lunches & learns, providing opportunities to learn about different non-profit organizations and find new ways to get involved. This is such a special initiative, and I can’t wait to see what team members take part in and what kind of impact we create in 2024. What are your favorite ways to give back to your community? #accountingandaccountants #entrepreneurship #smallbusiness #business #success

🌟✨ Nourishing Hearts Through Giving Back: A Connection with Graze Craze ✨🤝 Hello LinkedIn family! 👋 Today, let's explore the beautiful connection between the act of giving back and the essence of Graze Craze in Huntersville, NC. 💖🧀 🌱 Filling Plates, Fulfilling Souls: At Graze Craze, we've discovered that the joy of crafting delectable grazing boards extends beyond satisfying taste buds—it's about nourishing hearts and creating a positive impact in our community. 🤝 A Shared Philosophy: Giving back isn't just a responsibility; it's a philosophy ingrained in the very fabric of our business. The act of curating grazing boards is a reflection of the care and attention we bring to our community, mirroring the spirit of generosity that defines giving back. 🍇 Graze with Purpose: Our commitment to giving back goes beyond our doors with initiatives like "Graze for Good." By contributing to local events, charities, and community causes, we aim to create a connection that transcends the act of sharing delicious food—it's about sharing moments, fostering unity, and making a positive impact. 💡 Connecting Threads of Positivity: Just as a well-curated grazing board brings together diverse flavors to create a harmonious experience, giving back connects the threads of positivity within a community. It's about recognizing that each small act, whether in the form of a savory bite or a charitable contribution, contributes to the greater tapestry of well-being. 🌈 The Ripple Effect: Much like the ripple effect created by a single act of kindness, giving back spreads positivity, inspires others, and strengthens the bonds that tie a community together. It's a reminder that, collectively, we can create a lasting impact that reaches far beyond our immediate surroundings. ✨ Join Us in the Circle of Giving: As we continue our journey at Graze Craze, we invite you to join us in the circle of giving. Whether through your own initiatives, community outreach, or by simply sharing a moment with someone in need, let's amplify the positive vibrations and make a difference together. Because at Graze Craze, we believe that when we nourish each other, we nourish the world. 🌍🌿 #GrazeCraze #GrazeForGood #GivingBack #CommunityConnection #PositivityMatters #HuntersvilleLocal #SpreadJoy

Whether it is paid time off for volunteering, company-matched donations or smaller teams opting for volunteer initiatives for team building, there are so many ways to empower your teams to be champions for good around the world. What are you doing to enable your teams to give back? Need ideas? Let me know! Below are a few organizations in Austin that I like to give both time and resources to when I can. What are yours?

DAY TWO | GIVING BACK The theory of "warm glow giving" suggests the idea that by giving to others, we can actually feel an uptick in our own joy and happiness. When individuals engage in warm glow giving, they experience a sense of satisfaction, derived from the joy of making a positive impact on someone else's life or contributing to a cause they care about. By giving to others, whether it is through donating money, volunteering time, or offering support, individuals can experience a sense of fulfillment and purpose. Helping those in need or contributing to the betterment of society can create a deep sense of satisfaction and contentment. Moreover, warm glow giving can also have a positive impact on one's mental and emotional well-being. It can help alleviate stress, reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation, and foster a sense of connection with others. When individuals engage in acts of generosity, they often experience a boost in their mood and overall sense of happiness. Additionally, warm glow giving can create a ripple effect, inspiring others to give and contribute as well. When people witness acts of generosity, it can inspire them to pay it forward and engage in their own acts of kindness. This can create a cycle of generosity and positivity within communities, leading to a more compassionate and supportive society. ***** Join us as we close out the year here at Full Circle with a wave of gratitude. As we begin our end of year campaign, we kindly ask for support from you -- our champions, our cheerleaders, our former clients, our friends and neighbors -- our community. Your contribution will make a significant impact on our cause and help us continue our important work. Every donation, no matter the size, can make a difference and bring us one step closer to achieving our goals of serving grieving children, families, and adults in Central Virginia. Please consider supporting Full Circle during our annual campaign by donating here: https://lnkd.in/eWXEnzdB or following the link in our bio. Thank you for your support of Full Circle this holiday season, and all year round.
