Over two decades ago, I had the privilege of working at Progressive for nearly ten years. Even back then, the company was ahead of its time in fostering a remarkable team member culture. It's truly an amazing organization!
That's fantastic! I love companies that walk their walk. Congratulations on your recognition.

Surveyor & Loss Assessor for Motor & Property (fire, marine, engineering), Ex. Director - Indian Institute Of Insurance Surveyors & Loss Assessors, India (IIISLA)
2moI am from India and have over 30 years of experience as a loss adjuster. Recently, I migrated to the USA as a permanent resident (green card holder) and have been applying for auto damage adjuster positions at Progressive. Unfortunately, I've faced rejections each time. When I sought feedback, I was informed that other candidates have experience with Progressive’s competitors and are familiar with similar software. While my responses to STAR method questions reflect my extensive real-life work experience in my home country, I understand they may differ from those of other candidates. I am eager to work with Progressive and excel in this field. Could you please suggest ways for me to overcome the hurdle of "competitor experience"? I am more than willing to learn and adapt. I hope my positive approach will be recognized and that I will receive guidance to align my skills with what the company is looking for. I am currently restricted from reapplying for six months and want to ensure I am fully prepared for my next attempt.
