Recent email ✉ from a prospect - ''We have come to the decision that although your services sound beneficial, we are not looking to make any changes at this time'' Change can be hard. For example, this prospect was using agencies for 100% of hires, due to a lack of internal resources. We discussed the types of positions, which were a combination of BD, Admin & and Tech. These are roles we commonly help businesses to hire directly and can provide suitable administration support to save them time. Effectively we could have saved this business up to 90% of the cost of each hire! I also understand that handing the bulk of the recruitment process to an agency can be the path of least resistance and the most straightforward, yet higher-cost option. Changing their process appears daunting. 😨 However, what is the cost of not changing this process? A continuation of the same. 🔂 I always ask the prospect, what is the cost of continuing with your current process? 💷 Once they have given it serious consideration, they we discuss how we can efficiently transition. However, some prospects still won't change, and this is fine. Both parties have to be fully invested in a project, to maximize the results. So, if you are having hiring challenges, think about the cost of not making changes, not the cost to change. #change #hiring #TA
