Job Overview: As an Operations Engineer specializing in Chemical Process Execution, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing chemical manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe execution of chemical production activities, troubleshooting process issues, and implementing improvements to enhance operational performance. This role requires a strong background in chemical engineering, process optimization, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Process Execution: Oversee day-to-day chemical manufacturing operations, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols. Monitor and control process parameters to achieve optimal production efficiency and product quality. Troubleshooting: Identify and address issues related to chemical process execution promptly. Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to resolve equipment and process-related issues. Safety Compliance: Implement and enforce safety procedures and protocols in compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments. Quality Assurance: Monitor and maintain product quality by conducting regular quality checks and implementing corrective actions as needed. Work closely with quality control teams to ensure product specifications are met. Process Optimization: Continuously analyze and optimize chemical manufacturing processes for improved efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Propose and implement process improvements to enhance overall operational performance. Data Analysis: Collect and analyze process data to identify trends, deviations, and areas for improvement. Generate reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track process performance. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, maintenance, and quality control, to achieve production goals. Participate in project teams for the implementation of new processes or process modifications. Stay updated on industry best practices and share knowledge with the team Environmental Compliance: Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and implement initiatives to minimize the environmental impact of chemical processes. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of process parameters, incidents, and changes. Prepare operation manuals and contribute to the development of standard operating procedures. Emergency Response: Develop and execute emergency response plans to address unplanned events or incidents. Coordinate with emergency response teams and local authorities as needed.
