The company also needed to find ways to reach more customers. Yesterday I talked about how you may want to use a campaign to target current clients, especially in the onboarding process. One great way to do that is with video. 65% of the population are visual learners and people retain 80% of what they see versus 20% of what they read and 10% of what they hear. (see: https://lnkd.in/gYtCGE7B.) We recently worked with a client who developed an ordering portal for doctors and consumers. With her guidance, we took two approaches: a short promotional video to highlight the benefits of the new portal and a longer tutorial video that will be easily accessed inside the portal. She provided an outline of the key components of the video and then we jumped into the portal to do screen captures and recordings and developed a script to go along with each step. By having a video for onboarding, our client is increasing the likelihood of successful usage of the portal, decreasing frustration for customers and decreasing call volume for customer service.
