Today, looking at American, Australian, and now European waistlines you might say this has been a complete medical disaster, but that's only if you don't have shares in companies like Nestle, Coca-Cola as well as Big Pharma which has enjoyed a massive boom in sales from the downstream effects. And these multi-billion industries are working tirelessly to keep cereal/sugar consumption up.
Did you know that John Harvey Kellogg and his brother William Keith Kellogg invented cornflakes as a bland meal replacement for residents in Battle Creek Sanitarium in the hope of reducing the likelihood of masturbation in the general population?
Honestly. They believed that meat and certain foods increased sexual desire while cereals could curb it.

Imagine starting your day ‘feeding’ yourself and your loved ones with high-carb, high salt, high sugar, high-glycemic, high glyphosate, nutrient-defunct, diabesity-fuelling, hunger-enhancing, attention-destroying cereal first thing in the morning?
If you feed brekkie cereal to kids, please note that the cardboard used for the boxes is now so thin most can't even close the top of the box properly. If you can't do that, and the bag inside is full enough, it's likely that cereal is fully exposed to the environment. Despite the preservatives used, it will rot quickly, particularly if in a kitchen with steam (but even without nutrients will plummet and mites will come).
