"A journey towards energy and water sustainability in the Dubai Urban Plan 2040” 🌍 ♻ Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) aims to achieve the objectives of the Dubai Urban Plan 2040 through initiatives that promote energy efficiency and sustainability and reduce carbon emissions. ⚡ 💡 DEWA is implementing projects and programmes to convert buildings to zero energy and improve energy and water efficiency. DEWA's buildings, conversion and production stations, pumping and storing water have been rehabilitated to achieve a significant reduction in carbon emissions. [#Youth] As partners in sustainability, Dalkia Middle East and Abu Dhabi Energy Services (ADES), are leading the way to promote energy efficiency and sustainability. ADES, known as the Super ESCO of the UAE, is in charge of developing and financing the energy efficiency contract at United Arab Emirates University, with Dalkia serving as the project contractor. That's why we launched the "𝗨𝗔𝗘 𝗡𝗲𝘁 𝗭𝗲𝗿𝗼 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆: 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗘𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲" at the residential community of the university. The aim of this competition is simple: encourage sustainable living practices, raise awareness about energy conservation, and foster community collaboration.
