The top products imported through the Entry Type 86 program are exactly what you'd expect. Except... Footwear & Apparel. Yes, agencies regulate leather on shoes and pearl buttons on shirts. But a lot of footwear and apparel isn't regulated. Now, these are ideal eCommerce purchases, so I understand the volume. T86 is being used as a voluntary pilot program. There are benefits: - Better trade data = Efficient clearances. - Tariff > Description. - Improved Security = Trusted Trader Status. - Fewer delays result in decreased costs. We're seeing a shift in preference for T86 regardless of the mode of transport. It makes sense.

Product page tactic to try 👀 Place the add-to-cart button HIGHER on your product page. When we did this in a recent test, conversions increased by 25%. For this footwear brand selling internationally, their high-quality shoes are super popular with many colorways to choose from. Most customers already know about them, so our new layout moved the add-to-cart button ABOVE the description. Know your target customer! Most brands assume that adding a description directly above the add-to-cart button will tug at their emotions and convince the user to buy. But for some, too much info up top interrupts the purchase flow and distracts from the actual product and visuals - especially for an apparel brand. Test it out: Move your ATC button ABOVE your product description. #ecommerce
