Plug is proud to announce that it has begun installing and commissioning electrolyzer systems worldwide, with many already operational and producing hydrogen today. To date over 95 MW of Plug electrolyzer systems are in operation or commissioning at sites across the world, setting a new PEM electrolyzer capacity milestone in the hydrogen industry. The location of these systems spans multiple regions in North America, Europe, Africa, Asia, New Zealand and India. Each electrolyzer deployment is managed and installed in compliance with the diverse regulatory and compliance requirements specific to each geography. The systems, ranging from one-megawatt (MW) to 40 MW in capacity, are operating at external customer sites that have purchased Plug’s PEM electrolyzers. Since installation, Plug’s electrolyzers have collectively produced over 1,500 metric tons of hydrogen. Read more here: https://lnkd.in/gUCu5QKD

Plug will be one of the first producers of clean hydrogen in the U.S. to recognize the benefits of the Inflation Reduction Act’s (IRA) Section 45V Credit for the Production of Clean Hydrogen (PTC) enacted by an Act of Congress earlier this year. This incentive allows newer, cleaner technologies, such as electrolytic hydrogen, which is produced from water, to be more cost competitive with incumbent fossil fuel technologies. Congrats to the RIT racing team on their win, Plug is proud to support student initiatives!
RIT Racing takes first place overall at FSAE Michigan 2024! 🏎️🏁🏆 It is impossible for us to convey the emotions our team felt as we heard our name called for First Place overall last night. It was only two years ago that we had to explain why we didn’t have a new car due to all the difficulties the team had gone through following the pandemic. Now, two years later, our team was able to outperform all of our competitors to bring home first place. For the first time in its 32 year history, RIT Racing has won FSAE Michigan. F32 exemplifies not only the hard work and long nights from our members this year, but it also examplifies that RIT Racing, after years of challenges, is finally back to where it once was. Our results: First place overall 🥇 Second place in Endurance 🥈 Third place in Acceleration 🥉 To all of those who supported us this year, whether it be through sponsorship, donations, engineering help, or just moral support, we sincerely appreciate your continued support of the team. This would all be impossible without you.
