Today in 2011 (about two months after the Christchurch earthquake) Bernie Lyons from Farrow Jamieson and Grant Allen and Paul Proudfoot from Manux Solutions Limited our IT support company, were craned up the outside of the building as the internal staircase had collapsed. Standing inside a container they balanced against the 9th Floor balcony. Apart from Search and Rescue, no one had been in our premises since the quake. They were given 30 minutes to find and place anything from our premises in to the container. The result... was a total shift to cloud computing. #cloud #earthquake #cloudcomputing
