Clean energy generation can be stylish.
💡Bloom Energy teamed up with Cefla to build and deploy the first #fuelcell cogeneration (#CHP) plant in Italy🤝. NOVA is built and ready to deliver cleaner power, heat, and cooling, without burning fuel. This week Cefla inaugurated NOVA at their headquarters in Imola. 🌱ICYMI: The high-efficiency production of electricity and heat, without greenhouse gas emissions caused by burning fuel, is critical to decarbonizing heavy industry and manufacturing plants. This milestone paves the way for advancing #cleanenergy solutions to Italian companies to aid in the European Union's energy transition💪. Congratulations to Gianmaria Balducci and Massimo Milani and their teams at Cefla and Cefla Engineering!

We've teamed up with EECA (Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority) to bring you The Clean Energy Transition Series. Over a series of 8 videos, we'll look into how a number of organisations around Aotearoa are making the shift to reduce carbon emissions, and the growing skills and capability needs associated with this. Check out the video to see how EECA’s work has highlighted the possibility for the industry to decarbonise much quicker than previously thought possible, by working together with support from programmes like RETA and GIDI. RETA takes a regional look at opportunities and barriers faced when reducing emissions from process heat (the energy used in manufacturing and processing primary products), which currently makes up over a quarter of this country’s energy-related emissions. Get ahead of the game and connect with energy leaders and mentors via LUMO364 👉 https://lnkd.in/gJEUbXEB #energyacademy #eeca #cleanenergy #decarbonisation #reduceemissions #aotearoa #carbonemissions

It would be great to see some form of agreement or guarantee for the best price of energy supplied for industrial use in the future. I think the industrial sector, for the most part, would prefer to continue their level of production or increase it if given the chance. A quick look at the MBIE energy balance tables shows the volume of consumed energy from oil is so big, that full decarbonization would need some form of limitation to be realistic. Without limit, we would continue "decarbonizing" for the next 500 years, or live in perpetual debt to pay for it. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Rewarding those looking far into the future with affordable credit might be a good incentive for businesses that want to take a step forward. Sure, a tailwind like that can't be ignored. But the next step is inviting businesses to take a stance and forecast well into the future, tapping into their knowledge, adjusting to the scenario they see as most likely possible, and going onwards, driving to those conditions. The other option is ignoring the problem, which I personally do not recommend. #decarbonization #energymanagement #energyefficiency #naturalrefrigerants

🍃 On Monday, 29 April 2024, the OLGA project organised a Workshop on Green Innovations Certification at Airports held in Paris. This workshop was organised in the framework of Work Package 8 - Exploitation and Technology Transfer and was hosted by ENGIE Lab Crigen, with the support of COMOTI - Romanian Research&Development Institute for Gas Turbines and Bureau Veritas Group. 🛫 The purpose of the workshop was to clarify the steps needed to be undertaken by airports, as part of the green certification journey, on topics ranging from waste to biofuels, hydrogen and sustainable aviation fuel. The event built upon existing knowledge and consolidated the information on the certification process itself while identifying gaps and addressing barriers in the process of Green Innovations Certification at Airports. Therefore, the participation of the OLGA airports - Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (Groupe ADP), Milan Malpensa Airport (SEA Milan Airports), International Zagreb Airport Jsc. and Cluj Avram Iancu International Airport - together with other partners from Air France, Air Liquide, Infraplan Consulting LLC and Snam S.p.A. (leading energy infrastructure operator in Italy). ⬇ Read more about the outcomes of the workshop: https://lnkd.in/dAa_zQvu

🔝 Artificial intelligence has truly excited me. Yes, I have many doubts about certain topics and interventions in our work and our reality, but the ability to create a video announcement without hiring a studio or a speaker is next level for me. While I still prefer live videos where a real person engages me, or when someone tells me a real story, for sharing information such as the announcement of the SEEnergy conference♻ at the Celje Fair, advanced tools seem quite unique and innovative to me. 🌐🔝 As a journalist, I gladly embarked on this creative journey with artificial intelligence, as you simply must delve into all the details of innovation.
