In a recent publication, we present a comprehensive overview of 30 investment priorities for sustainable transport, spanning seven main areas. At #EUSEW2024, we explored groundbreaking insights from leaders in the EV, battery, train, and e-bike sectors. Their diverse priorities and innovative ideas aim to accelerate the decarbonization of transport and transport industries. One key takeaway? ­ ­The #powergrid is electromobility's next frontier. 👷   As the adoption of electric vehicles (#EVs) increases, it becomes imperative to step up our efforts to achieve their seamless integration – and related charging infrastructure – into the existing power grid. While the development of electric mobility is a significant asset to a clean energy system, it nevertheless raises questions over the management of power grids and connected charging infrastructure.   The Platform for Electromobility thus proposes a series of three webinars to analysis, debate and propose solution to ensure a smooth integration of electromobility into the grid.    The webinar series, titled "Trilogy for the Grid", will consist of three concise sessions, each focusing on crucial aspects of the topic. The objectives of these sessions include raising awareness of challenges, provide policy solutions at EU level, and fostering discussions between stakeholders and policy makers to lead to actionable solutions. A few month later, the European Commission's Public Consultation is coming to an end soon. 🌇 A legislative initiative to mandate the electrification of large corporate fleets by 2030 is key to ensure the development of a #secondhand market for #EVs in Europe. Don't forget to have your say in this consultation! Deadline : 8th July.

The successful deployment of V2X technology requires coherence, decisive actions, and strong political ownership at the EU level. It's crucial to ensure alignment across Member States, EU legislation, and various levels of governance.
