Vogt RV World- Tiffin DFW, Leisure RV Center DFW, Leisure RV Center greater Houston, Jayco Supercenter Fort Worth, Airstream of DFW, and soon Airstream of Arkansas
We have a need for store managers for our two stores. HIGH END RV's such as Tiffin motorhomes, Leisure Travel Vans, Storyteller Adventure Vans, Chinooks, Pleasure Ways, etc. The tough part is, I am very leery of RV industry managers. Not that they aren't great people and good at their job where they are...it's just we are TOTALLY different. We do performance reviews on 50% performance and 50% core value leadership. You need 100% of both but that is our review criteria. We do customer service different. Everything. The processes have to be followed and trusted and they will not be what RV industry people are used to. I have bad luck with people that were great elsewhere. However, these are positions that manage great people and I can't really toss a green pea in here...so I am not sure how to write the ad needing SM or GSM's knowing that people read things like servant's heart and customer service, but may not actually believe that is mandatory or it's a waste of time. So I just thought I would toss this out and guage if someone thinks they are a fit. CORE VALUES = Integrity, Servant's Heart, Team Mentality, Motivated, Authentic, Teachable, Enthusiastic. We need nice to a fault, but highly motivated to lead, not manage. Our customers and team members success and happiness are part of the job. Humility will be required. Decisions are made exactly like this: - Is it best for the customer? - Is it best for our partners? - Is it best for our team members? - Is it good for our bottom line? But, kicking butt at selling high end RV's the right way is the most fun! [email protected] will work if you think this is you. God bless you and yours, find the joy in every day!

It takes 2 years to develop a Store Manager into a District Manager. Due to this, most companies choose to hire outside for the role. One of the greatest joys is seeing people be promoted to District Manager. It's a life-changing opportunity that often leads to further promotions. VP, Owners, and CEO many started as Store Managers. There will be mistakes in the first year, but after year 2, that’s where the magic begins. A loyal, dedicated, culture-aligned employee leading others. What that does do to the culture and work ethic of all your employees is unmeasurable. Chances are someone at one of your facilities has the ability to do amazing things they just need a chance and someone to start them down the path. #selfstorage #people #culture

This is so true in every aspect.

Post Expo seems like a great time for this. Allow me to reintroduce myself...my name is Wade Yenny, and I'm looking for my next professional opportunity/journey. Born and raised in Ohio, I spent the first part of my career in the restaurant business. Starting as a short order cook in high school and working my way into salaried management while still only 18 years old. I learned all aspects of that business, from front of house, to back of house, managing, and culminating in me actually owning my own restaurant for over 2 years. I transitioned into the grocery business with the same mindset. I needed/wanted to learn all areas of that business, so I spent a full year working every area of Center Store (and beyond). Grocery, Dairy, Frozen, Beer/Wine, Receiving, Night Stock, Merchandising, Cashier, Carryout--you name it-I did it. Eventually, I was promoted to be a salaried Grocery Manager. I made the move to corporate buying about 20 years ago and have worked with a variety of companies ranging from 4 stores to 161, covering formats from family owned conventional to high end natural organic to focused specialty. I've held various positions from Buyer to Vice President, and have been promoted at every company along the way, all the while building people, relationships, and brands. I've been asked...what do I want to do next? I've said I'm open to any/all conversations, but at the core, I want to do what I do best... Develop and Build. -People. -Relationships (both internal and external). -Brands. That's me in a nutshell...so... Do you want to #workwithwade? Or...do you know of an opportunity that might be a good fit? Reach out...and let's talk. “You miss one hundred percent of the shots you don't take” -Wayne Gretzky #grocery #cpg #sales #retail #crawlwalkrun

Personalized Coaching for High-Performers to Elevate their Mindset & Value | Providing a Peak Performance Blueprint for Sales Teams | Creating Value for Companies Before their next Funding Round
Every now and then, we all need someone to bet on our potential... Luckily, I was given that chance back in 2010. I was doing my first role out of college as a field sales representative covering 6 Home Depot stores in Orlando, FL. Not the most glamorous stocking shelves, putting up literature, and selling in the aisles.... but it taught you about the brands, how Home Depot operates, and the end user which was crucial. I was proactive and befriended a local high-flyer in the company, Mike Heist, and built some rapport. When an opportunity for a promotion came up, I wasn't at the top of the list. But since I was bold networking within the company I got a shot. I had a 2 hour heads up and drove straight there with little time to prep. Ended up interviewing with Mike and another sales leader, Daniel Jonke (pictured above). Was definitely nervous, fumbled at times, but did a good enough job to get the offer. I feel pretty confident I wouldn't be where I'm at now if I wouldn't have gotten that first promotion at Milwaukee Tool/TTi. Appreciate Mike, Daniel, and the entire regional team that ended up hiring me to come on board. Came full circle recently when I reconnected with Daniel at an event 14 years later. The lesson here is you always will need someone to throw you a bone to really break out in your career, you need to be proactive with networking, and do hard things on purpose so your prepared when you get a shot! 💪🏼💪🏼 #mindset #sales #habits
