✅ Our first Circle of CDR is in the books! ✅ Last week, we brought together decision-makers and sustainability thought leaders from companies like BMW and Allianz. Our guest speaker, Robert Schiele, who established the Negative Emissions Technologies program at Siemens, discussed the challenges of building a CDR portfolio at a large corporation and gave insights into current market trends. Key takeaways: 🔄 Companies usually look for synergies when investing in CDR (e.g., technology companies may look for partnerships where they can, in turn, provide their technology to the supplier for carbon removal credits). 🇺🇸 The US government is actively engaging in developing countries to build regulatory foundations and secure access to CDR for US companies. Political powerhouses like the EU and China will need to step up their game to avoid being left behind. Later, our guests and the Carbon Atlantis team had some insightful conversations about the voluntary carbon market, our technology, and the current challenges and opportunities in technology-based CDR. Last month, we launched one of our biggest projects yet - our second collaboration with Fraunhofer Austria, which introduced our ISO verified calculation model to accurately calculate the impact of refurbished devices - and we are able to do that for almost 10.000 different products. Thanks to the ISO verified calculation, each business who purchases refurbished products with us, can use the data for their company's sustainability reporting - and have huge, quantifiable impact on our planet with this choice. NEW IEEE SA INDUSTRY CONNECTION PROGRAM STARTED As Chair of the IEEE SA Industry Connection Program, I am pleased to announce that we have now officially begun the development the IEEE Impact Assessment Framework for Sustainable Mobility Systems. The transport sector contributes over 20% of global CO2 emissions, with car-related road travel accounting for over three-quarters. Environmental concerns and political pressure to define ESG-related regulatory goals necessitate financial markets to consider reporting standards reflecting business practices and cross-sector sustainability performance. Compliance with sustainability regulations requires concrete measures and consumer behavior change. Without an integrated assessment framework, the transport sector risks siloed activities and missing overall targets. The Impact Assessment Framework for Sustainable Mobility Systems aims to fill this gap, providing a consistent approach to assess sustainability initiatives’ impact on SDG/ESG parameters, built step-by-step based on use cases and informed by reliable data from cyber-physical testbeds. Goals of the Activity The goal is to sketch a model process for systemic change, prioritize use cases, and facilitate the development of assessment tools. Reducing environmental footprints alone is insufficient. A holistic SDG-based view is crucial in 3 levels: · Technology substitution · Mobility change · Social transformation

Our annual report for 2023 has just been released. 2023 proved to be yet another year focused on investment and development for Eltronic Group. With robust product platforms and a solid organizational structure across all eight subsidiaries, the group achieved an increase in total revenue, reaching DKK 1.98 billion. "We are on a journey of growth and development, and over the past year, we have focused on areas where we are specialists and expanded them. The entire Group has solid businesses, ambitious customers, and employees with strong skills. We have once again gone through a significant investment year, and we will continue to use and extend the product platforms we have developed," founder and CEO of Eltronic Group, Lars Jensen says.
