📢 CAM's Impact in 2023: A Year of Support and Transformation 📢 In 2023, the Center for Addiction Medicine (CAM) made significant strides in supporting Denver Health and our community. Our hub and spoke model of care reached over 23,000 individuals, resulting in 78,000 substance-related visits. We're proud to serve a diverse group, with over half of our patients being persons of color and 22% experiencing homelessness. 🌟 Key Highlights: ✔️23,000 individuals served ✔️78,000 substance-related visits ✔️64% males, 52% persons of color ✔️59% insured with Medicaid 👏 A special round of applause goes to Brooke Bender, MPH, the Administrative Director and Judith Shlay, MD, the Medical Director of the Center for Addiction Medicine, for their exceptional leadership in spearheading this outstanding initiative and making a significant difference in our community.
