I received an email from @phantomneuros concerning an operations manager position. I went through 2 waves of interviews over the last couple of days that were both email and chat based, which definitely put up a red flag. All questions were job specific and the person on the other end of the line seemed knowledgeable of the company and of the role. The hiring manager I was talking too introduced himself as Logan Lefler, COO. I have not been able to find him on any company pages. This morning I was offered the position and was sent what seemed to be a genuine offer letter for me to sign. They also were requesting I fill out direct deposit information and W4 forms. More red flags as I had yet to have any face-to-face interactions with anyone and had not yet gone through any typical onboarding procedures. I won't be filling out any of it. Thank you for posting this notice and for confirming my suspicions. This particular job offer scam seems to be particularly well put together and is enticing. Although it was a great exercise in writing out answers to many interview questions, I caution everyone to protect themselves and avoid the major waste in time.
