Many thanks to Yusuf Kurt and Rodrigo Magalhaes at #ZFGroup for inviting Phantom to join ZF’s Green Material & Technology Innovation Day 2024 on June 4th in Friedrichshafen. Showcasing our in-production full surround L2 stack on TI’s TDA4VH and the most cost-efficient GSR Front Camera on TI’s AM62A, Phantom shared and also gained valuable insights into what’s next in the ADAS space and how Phantom’s scalable and efficient ADAS software stack could contribute to more reliable and safer driving experiences. #ADAS #Computervision #future

Research update! A recent study of Oliver Trepping from MdynamiX and IFM - Institut für Fahrerassistenz und vernetzte Mobilität explored the impact of cross-coupled Coriolis effects on motion sickness in automated driving. The findings suggest that stimuli with cross-coupled rotational components may influence motion sickness differently than translatory conditions. While the study acknowledges limitations in sample size and rotational velocities, it opens avenues for further investigation. Key considerations include the need for realistic simulator models and the potential influence of head movements. Stay tuned for advancements in understanding and addressing motion sickness challenges in automated vehicles! You can find the paper on this topic using the following link. Turn Your Lab into Your Road ❓ How do you validate complex multisensor architectures for ADAS/AD functions that are distributed across several ECUs, and how do you do this synchronously and in real time in the laboratory? 💡 The solution is a setup consisting of a dSPACE SCALEXIO HIL simulator in combination with dSPACE AURELION, the Environment Sensor Interface (ESI) Unit, and the dSPACE Automotive Simulation Models (ASM). 👉 In this article, you will learn how the Chinese AICC (Automotive Intelligence and Control of China Co., Ltd.) benefits from the dSPACE test environment for highly realistic sensor simulations, which can be used to conveniently simulate any driving scenario for a wide variety of sensor combinations in real time in the laboratory. https://lnkd.in/etkat83n #dSPACE #adas #autonomousdriving #autonomousvehicles #ISO26262

As already announced during our Sneak Peek on Friday, we will be present at "The ADAS experience" organized by carhs training gmbh at the ADAC Testzentrum Mobilität in Penzing this week! We cannot stress enough how important it is to have a comprehensive test strategy for ADAS. The complexity and the number of test scenarios are increasing enormously on the way to higher levels of vehicle automation. Therefore, the combination of real-world testing on the proving grounds and virtual validation will be necessary to address all test scenarios and gain confidence in these systems AND in the test tools we choose. We are still a start-up, so we pick and choose the events we sponsor, and we see this event as a perfect opportunity to discuss the importance of sensor simulation. Our CEO Dr. Philipp Rosenberger will be htere and highlight the importance of digital proving ground twins and why it is crucial to do material properties right as part of the sensor simulation. So let's meet in Penzing! #ADAS #TheADASExperience #carhs #Perception #Sensor #Simulation and #Model #Validation
