At the #TrueNorth Business Development Forum this week, a panel discussion took place entitled "Multiple Paths Forward on Economic Reconciliation". The goal of this session was to delve into the realm of Nation-to-Nation and industry partnerships. Panelists included: -Chief Robert Michell, Stellat’en First Nation -Bob Redden, EDI -Ward Prystay, Stantec -Regina Toth, Lhai Ventures -Deklan Corstanje (Moderator), City of Prince George The collaboration among Lhai Ventures (i.e., four Nations venture with Lheidli T’enneh, Nadleh Whut’en, Saik’uz, and Stellat’en Nations), Stantec, and EDI has been very successful. Through respect and shared vision, this collaboration created over 25,000 hours of employment for members of Indigenous communities. It is a testament to working together and fostering economic growth. We look forward to continuing to build bridges and pave the way for a bright future through Indigenous-Industry collaborations. #IndigenousBusiness #Partnership #Collaboration
