Make Safety Personal. My teams hear me say that all the time, but making it personal is the best way I know to make it happen. Our job, in the most basic of terms, is to make sure everyone that steps onsite goes home to their families in the same condition they arrived. We have all kinds of tools and tech at our disposal to do our jobs and build great things, but at the end of the day it boils down to getting everyone home to their families. Stop by our Weitz sites in our Southwest Business Unit, and you will see how personal we take it. You’ll find our commitment posted right at the entry to all our project sites. When you put people first, great things can happen. In the end this is a people business, and what better way to support our people (and trade partners) than to make sure they get home safe. /// Build A Better Way. #Weitz #BuildABetterWay

At Tri-Bay, we understand that a happy and productive team is the backbone of successful commercial construction projects. That's why we prioritize the importance of work-life balance for our employees. We recognize that construction can be demanding, with tight deadlines and complex tasks, but we firmly believe that taking care of our team's well-being is critical to achieving outstanding results. By fostering a work environment that encourages a healthy work-life balance, we empower our team members to recharge, rest, and enjoy quality time with their loved ones. This understanding enhances their overall satisfaction and fuels greater productivity and creativity on the job. When our commercial construction team is well-rested and fulfilled outside of work, they bring renewed energy and passion to their tasks. This leads to increased efficiency and better problem-solving, benefiting our clients and our projects. By encouraging a balanced lifestyle, we create a positive and supportive work culture where our team members feel valued, respected, and motivated to excel. At Tri-Bay, considering our team's well-being is an investment in our success. Together, we build exceptional structures and a cohesive, happy, and thriving team! #WorkLifeBalance #Productivity #EmployeeWellbeing #BuildingSuccess #10thAnniversary

When you've spent more than 12 years working for one company, it's clear that you believe in what you're doing. Tracy Anderson is no exception. Currently serving as Project Manager Assistant in Commercial Construction at HB McClure, Tracy is proof that employee ownership is about much more than just stock options. For Tracy, it's all about working as part of a team to achieve great things. Collaboration and teamwork are the keys to success - now and in the future. It's a refreshing approach, and we're glad to have people like Tracy as an employee-owner. Keep up the great work, Tracy! #EmployeeOwnershipMonth #EmpoweringSuccess #CommunityImpact #HBMcClure #HBCulture #ESOP #TrustTeamGritGrowth #SpecialProjects #BuildSomethingGreat #MechanicalContractor #MakingADifference

500 homes built, $200m of construction value added, 2000 lot pipeline | CEO @ INB Homes | We build affordable, quality homes in Central Florida that yield consistent profits
Responsibility v.s. Tasks. Our employees have a sense of ownership for their work. They give every project their all. To that end; ❎We don’t just give them tasks. ✅ We trust them and give them responsibility. A typical conversation with an employee would go something like this: “ I trust you to get this done and to do whatever it takes to get there. This is the general box of what I’m thinking, and if it goes outside that box, come over and we’ll discuss it.” That way they are free to take whatever avenues they want and take ownership of the project. Every employee here knows we trust them and therefore they’re motivated and excited. Do you also take this approach? #investing #newconstruction #responsibility #inbhomes

500 homes built, $200m of construction value added, 2000 lot pipeline | CEO @ INB Homes | We build affordable, quality homes in Central Florida that yield consistent profits
Every employee is different. And every field manager can handle a different amount of homes. We don’t want to overload our field managers with work we feel they can’t complete. ➡What do we do?⬅ At the beginning of each month, I meet with the head of construction, and we discuss in-depth how much we feel each field manager can hold. She then divides up the homes to each manager based on their capabilities. It’s counterproductive to try to try to stuff your employees with tasks just to try to get the most out of them. How do you handle employee productivity? #investing #florida #employees #inbhomes

Monteith Construction, transitions to employee ownership via an ESOP. "From day one, people have been central to our company purpose and growth, and for several years now, we have taken steps to make our company an employee-owned one," says John Monteith, company founder and chairman. "We have always led with culture, so making Monteith a place where everyone shares in ownership is the natural next step in our evolution." "This is about putting ownership into the hands of the people who drive our success," adds CEO and President Bryan Thomas. "Our team brings passion and grit to work each day, and the ESOP now provides a long-term, wealth-building benefit without changing any of our company values. We couldn't be more excited for what the future holds." https://lnkd.in/gCRS8ksn #ESOP #employeeownership
