As I see from the majority of the comments, everyone congratulates each other after winning the contract. I am not surprised by this, the sound of big money induces an immense joy, especially at the take off stage. As a veteran in Field Development across several major reservoirs, I would like to know all the stories and histories behind the curtain of the contract bidding by OMV, just an eagle view on the competence assessment matrix, qualification and disqualification rationales, scoring, and the economics of the final award. I would really like to know how competent the foreign specialists hired by OMV are in managing this project. Were they the only option? I don't see any Romanian names, neither companies nor specialists. Are there no longer Romanian specialists to hire for such projects? Ladies and gentlemen at OMV, we all know they exist. They excel at top companies around the world, most of them formally appreciated and rewarded. Just bring them back ! As far as I know from mass media, it was a real struggle to impose to OMV a hiring rate of minimum 15% for Romanian companies and work force.
Great to see this truly home-grown project is getting closer to be a great success story. This project was studied, explored, appraised and now being developed all by OMVPeteom. We all are proud of this.
