It was a pleasure to attend Groundswell Agriculture Festival last week on behalf of Peterson Projects and Solutions (Europe)! One of the main exciting takeaways that I gleaned over the two days was that there is a great appetite and demand for regenerative agriculture at every step of the supply chain- whether it is from the consumer (as shown by James Kingham FIFST from Waitrose & Partners and their Wildfarmed bread), from the supermarkets Marks and Spencer and buyers Yeo Valley Organic to mitigate supply chain risks, particularly for upcoming legislation, or at the cooperative and farm-level from the likes of First Milk and Willy's ACV - Probiotic Live Foods to ensure resilience of production in the face of climate change.   A statement from Dorothy Shaver drove home that "you cannot go green if you are in the red" really rings true at Groundswell, and I believe this is where the rate limiting factor of uptake of regen ag lies. At Peterson Projects and Solutions (Europe) we offer support to companies looking to engage in regenerative agriculture at each step of the implementation process whether it is on the field or for the data analysis & recommendations to ensure that your company's regenerative agriculture ambitions are rewarding for all aspects of your company.
