We could use more meal service volunteers to help us out on the weekends! As a meal service volunteer, you’ll work alongside kitchen staff to serve breakfast, lunch, or dinner to our families. We offer three meal service shifts daily, so you have plenty of opportunities to volunteer. Visit our website to learn more: loom.ly/ISIOVAM. Email [email protected] to sign up today!

We had the opportunity to help out Food Bank of the Rockies packing up thousands of pounds of food. What an easy and great way to serve and help your people grow. Some say you should pay your team to show up and do the “service”, is it really service if your being paid? I prefer to tell my team we have scheduled a time to go serve, tell them they are all welcome to come and give back to their community. It looks better for a photo op if you have a ton of your team there, but what does that do for building their character and building your team unity? What do you think? Should you pay your team to show up or ask for volunteers of those who want to give back?

This summer, kids 18 and under can eat for free at 14 library locations. Starting June 18, lunch will be served Tuesdays through Fridays from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. (except on Juneteenth and Independence Day) Last year, the library served 11,421 lunches to kids throughout Sacramento County. During the summer, 88% of kids who get meals at school don’t have access over summer break. Lunch at the Library supports food equity in our community with meal sites within our neighborhoods. Pastor, list the things others can do in the church. This list will help you to delegate when those who are gifted and want to serve ask how they can volunteer. Here are some areas: 1. Assemble gift bags for visitors. 2. Look over the facility for cleaning and repair needs. 3. Evaluate storage and throw away anything outdated, tacky, or not helpful. 4. Digital review (website, social media, external data storage). 5. New directory pictures and a new directory. 6. Prepare men to preach in the event you get sick.
