Load Management in 🏀 Since basketball isn’t played on a 28 rolling cycle like other sports, our staff is using a combination of statistics and strength and conditioning experience to find different timeframes for workload ratios. Here’s an example of some contrast training, I did with a rugby union player: A1 - Hang power clean A2 - Overhead med ball throw A3 - Hurdle jump In order to develop power, we need athletes training with a variety of loads and moving at a variety of speeds.
