𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝗹𝗲𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗨𝗻𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 Three years ago, in January 2020, I made a whimsical decision that would redefine my personal journey - I got a Peloton bike. Admittedly, after investing nearly $2000 on a whim, my heart raced with doubt. "What if I hate it?" But a more invigorating thought persisted: "What if I 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦 it?" That very question catapulted me into a nearly four-year transformative journey with Peloton. This platform has become more than just a stationary bike in my living room. It's been my solace, my cheering squad, and a mirror reflecting my potential back at me. I've laughed with it, shed tears, and more often than not, found myself awestruck by what I could achieve. The Peloton community has been a beacon of support, especially during my life's darkest phases. Their unwavering camaraderie and inspiration have reiterated the age-old saying, "It takes a village." This village of fellow riders has become my tribe, my outlet, my community. Sharing this today on LinkedIn, I hope to inspire someone out there to leap into the unknown, find their community, and discover outlets they never knew they needed. Because sometimes, the best decisions start with a simple question: "What if I love it?" 🚴♂️💙 #Community #PelotonJourney #FindingYourTribe

I lead the customer PR program for Copilot at Microsoft AND help leaders and business professionals avoid looking like well-dressed hostages in their headshots and branding photos (side business).
Before COVID, I was working with a personal trainer 4 days a week, doing things I didn't know the body could do, and was in the best shape of my life. Then the pandemic hit, and let's be honest, it impacted all of us in more ways than one. Toward the end of the pandemic, we bought a Tonal. But with hernia issues first with Jeff, then with me, and a broken toe, my workouts kept getting put off, and I struggled to find consistency. Fast forward to the beginning of 2024 when I also joined the Peloton community. I've been putting in 3 days a week fairly consistently on both Peloton and Tonal. A month ago, I decided to step it up a notch. My goal became 4 days a week on Peloton and the same for Tonal. With the exception of the week I was away from my Tonal, I've managed to conquer this goal. I even just finished my first Advanced program on the Tonal with none other than Beach Body's Tony Horton this morning. 👊 For the remainder of July and into August, I'm setting my sights even higher: 5 days a week. I'm going to be honest though, at 42, my knees don't always work like they used to 😅, and cycling with Denis Morton is definitely a kick in the pants in place of leg day. Determination and perseverance have been key, and I'm excited to keep pushing forward. Here's to setting goals and smashing them, no matter the obstacles! #FitnessJourney #Perseverance #Determination #Peloton #Tonal #Goals #KeepPushing

Today marks my 1000th workout with Peloton, rounding off an unbroken 103-week streak! 🎉💪 My journey wasn't embarked upon alone. I owe a significant part of my success to these game-changing philosophies and support systems: ★4 Pillars of Energy: This helped me recognize and reinforce Body and Fitness as an essential foundation of my energy and wellbeing. ★Deliberate Practice: This not only drove me to stay consistent but also to learn from the fantastic instructors at Peloton. Remember, building a habit is a marathon, not a sprint. And it's the relentless practice that polishes perfection. ★5AM Club: The sacred early morning hours became my best ally, creating an oasis of focus and productivity. Moreover, a standing ovation to Blinkist/GO1 for curating a seamless work-from-home culture that saves me a daily commute of 1.5 hours. This bonus time has allowed me to prioritize my fitness. The results? I've become a power-packed reservoir of energy, with an almost non-existent sick leave record of 0.3% in the last 3.5 years and my motivation is at an all-time high. 🚀 (I'll add some links for deep dive in the comments)

🏎️ What Makes a Go-Kart Track Truly Epic? 🏁 Ever wonder what separates a good go-kart track from a great one? Let’s break it down with a twist of humor: Twists and Turns: A great track is like a good plot twist in your favorite TV show—unpredictable and thrilling. Boring straightaways? Leave those for the drag strips! Smooth Surface: Think of it as skincare for the track. No one likes potholes on their face or their go-kart track. Smooth rides = happy racers. Safety First: Helmets and barriers aren’t just for looks. Safety gear is a must unless you want to create the next viral crash compilation. Pit Stop Perks: A good track knows that go-karting is hungry work. Snack bars should have more than just chips and soda—fuel for both kart and kart-er! Epic Scenery: Whether it's a beautiful seaside view or a post-apocalyptic wasteland (we all have our tastes), the scenery can turn a mundane race into an Instagrammable moment. Friendly Staff: Because nothing ruins a fun day faster than a grumpy flag waver. Enthusiastic staff keep the fun (and the karts) running smoothly. Competition: What’s a race without some friendly rivalry? The best tracks foster a competitive spirit, but remember—it’s all in good fun. In summary, the perfect go-kart track is like a great rollercoaster—smooth, exciting, and leaves you wanting another ride! Ready, set, GO! Thoughts? #GoKarting #RacingFun #TrackDesign #Motorsports #HumorInBusiness

600 rides today. I noticed as soon as I hit the start button all these high fives started to pop up. I high fived a few back but couldn’t keep up. That felt pretty great. While encouragement is good, that feature alone would never have sustained me to 600 rides. I ride because I’m a working mom of teenagers and a preschooler and … I need a healthy outlet. I do it because I want to age well. I do it because I’m competitive and the leaderboard names make me laugh. The massive high fives come at the milestone moments. Peloton riders get notified if someone hits ride 100, 200, 300, etc., and the high fives come flying through. At work we high five when the deal goes through, when the project is complete, when we get the shiny new title. But we all know the real work is in the little moments. It’s on ride 317. It’s when you decide to dig in instead of giving up. It’s giving your kids that last bit of energy you have at the end of a long and trying day. We should give ourselves (and each other) more credit for those small daily wins. Those little moments make the big milestones possible. So whether you are on ride 3 or ride 3009 or just getting through another high stress meeting, I’m sending out a high five for you. #highfive #innovation #peloton #betterthanyesterday

You can do anything for 15 seconds. A Peloton instructor said this during my first ride. It came at a time I wanted to give up. The hill was so hard, and I was so unfit. But I didn’t. In fact those words helped me so much that I not only got through that ride, but according my Peloton Interactive app, I’ve riden another 80 straight weeks of them. Those 7 words have become the foundation for how I now approach most challenging things in my life. I can do anything for 15 seconds: I can have a tough conversation I can receive challenging feedback I can start something new I can set healthy boundaries Peloton are also the masters of finding ways of keeping you focused on every small win. If I miss a daily ride, they highlight how well I’m tracking against my weekly challenge. I receive virtual high fives from other riders just for getting on the bike. Some days are harder than others. They even send me a summary of my best workouts to highlight my achievements. The key is that each time I ride (or don’t), they find something to celebrate. They focus on what I’ve done well that day and acknowledge me for it. I’m trying to get better at doing that too. I guess they’ve worked out that when all the small wins join together, they can become something great. Don’t doubt yourself. #peloton #selfcare #wintheday

The Car Ride Home – A Great Opportunity for Connection or Disconnection Whether your child’s team won or lost, youth sports can distort our perspectives. Add in the short amount of time adults have to sort out their own thoughts and feelings, and it’s no wonder why many young athletes report the car ride home as their least favorite part of sports. Here are some different tactics to consider: 1. Don’t bring up the subject. Just drive. Allow your child to start the conversation. Some young athletes may need some quiet time to process for themselves. Staring out the window is great for that! 2. Listen more than instruct. When your athlete does start talking, allow them to express themselves freely as part of the process of internal growth. 3. When you do speak, try asking these three questions recommended by Sportsengine.com to help them discern which outcomes they can control. • Did you do your best? • What did you learn? • Did you have fun? One side note, if your athlete demonstrated unacceptable behavior during the game, address that calmly before starting the engine. Then end the subject. #youngathletes #youthsports #sports #adults

Marketing and Revenue Operations can sometimes require protective head and eyewear! So, I’m inviting everyone attending MarketingOps.com’s Mops-Apalooza this week to join the Revenue Riders peloton! Let me know and I’ll be glad to get you kitted with a helmet and sunglasses for your very own Revenue Rider photo or video! David Kreitter, Peter Kirk, Jason S. and I were trying to figure out a ride one of the mornings of the conference, and I even invited Mike Rizzo and a few others, but the logistics on transportation, bikes, etc. were just a bit too much. So instead, find me at the conference, pick a helmet and some sunglasses, and think about what you want to share as a Revenue Rider! - What RevOps project in your career took the most endurance and stamina? - What was your fastest RevOps sprint?!?! - What was your hardest RevOps training plan? - What was your most spectacular RevOps crash?!?! - Who was the best RevOps teammate who lent you their wheel? Let’s ride! 🚴 🚴♂️ 🚴♀️ #revenueoperations #marketingoperations #mopza23
