It's all about balance for Peloton instructor Cody Rigsby when he's on vacation – whether he's staying out late or focusing on some much-needed R&R. He hones in on health while he's away by joining fellow instructors (virtually) for a workout – whether it's an outdoor run, strength class, or stretching –, telling Travel Leisure that he's "religious about using the Peloton app when [he's] on vacation." We could all take some travel tips (and inspo) from Cody. Read on for more in this fantastic piece by T L: https://lnkd.in/eBY6yKNe

I wouldn't say it saved my life, but the truth is.... It got me through and continues to daily. Since my first time clicking in to Peloton Interactive (January 2020 at 5AM) I've tackled.... --- 1500 Rides --- 9,992 Miles --- 39,725 Minutes --- 340,728 Calories I've been able to enjoy things such as... --- Company AM Peloton crew --- Booking Hotels that have a Bike --- Consistent Daily Morning Sweat --- Celebrating Milestones with Others ... challenging myself to stay committed DAILY. 950 🥳🚴🎉 When I started my journey with Peloton Interactive, I had this certain idea of how I should look after doing a certain number of rides and workouts. I was so focused on the end product not realizing everything I would gain and shed (and not meaning weight) over this process!!!💙 I love how my fitness journey has shown me it’s about how I feel…the mental clarity I get from moving my body daily… and what I can leave on the bike on then just go on with my day feeling better physically and emotionally, so I can be present for my loved ones. It’s not always about going hard or having the highest output. It’s about just showing up on the good days and the bad days and just doing what I can when I can!💪🏻 I’ve had my fair share of injuries and health concerns that have impacted my workout schedule, which has been frustrating, but I love that regardless of what’s going on in my life, Peloton Interactive has a workout I can do. And whatever the workout is, I always feel FANTASTIC!❤️🙋🏼♀️ Here’s to see where the next 950 rides take me!😀 Thank you Ally for an amazing ride! 49x Marathoner | Elevating startups from initial sales to next-level growth and supercharge sales teams, enhancing their output and revenue. Leading from the front, I ensure we always cross the finish line.
Back to double-digit distances on my long runs! After seven weeks of my comeback, culminating in a 33-mile week, it's time for a step-back week next week. Why? Because I said so—and because it's smart! Typically, I take a step-back every third or fourth week. So after seven weeks, and considering the initial weeks were lower mileage, the body—whether you realize it or not—is craving a recharge. This approach helps prevent injuries and burnout and catapults you to your next level of fitness. You're continuously building a new level of fitness. For next week, I'm planning to reduce my total mileage to 26, but I'll keep the speed work and drop the long run to 8 miles. #sales #life and the pursuit of #running

I help pilots and cabin crew escape the quick fix weight loss solutions to create unshakeable levels of body confidence the sustainable way.
✈️ One of the best ways to keep yourself motivated and on track with your fitness goal is…. ……to take a moment, look back and see the progress that you’ve made so far. But progress can take many forms, such as: ✈️ Weight loss ✈️ Being more consistent with your training ✈️ Or just ingraining a few new good habits into your daily routine. But acknowledging this isn’t always something we do. It’s all too often that we just focus on the end goal and not so much on what we’ve actually done so far that has got us to where we are now. This is why tracking your own journey is so important and will help you to achieve your ultimate target. At Flying Fit, all the data is tracked and these stats are the progress of one of my pilot clients. 👨🏻✈️✈️ He’s smashing it 💪🏻✈️👏🏼 #flyingfit #crewfitness #flightfitness #cabincrewhealth #pilotfitness #airlinehealth #aviationwellness #aviationlifestyle #pilothealth #flightattendantfitness #flightcrewfitness #cabincrewfitness

‘Tis the season 🌷 More daylight = more outdoor time! Here’s a few tips for smoothing the seasonal transition 1🔹Mindful Mileage If treadmill miles or cross training has been a big part of your fitness, changing to outdoor terrain on the run can require a little adjustment. Increase miles thoughtfully as your body gets used to fresh air, impact, and new footing surfaces. 2🔹Embrace some Elevation Maybe you’ve already been building a running fitness base! Your next step may be adding some intensity. A great way to spice up your routine, while enhancing muscular capacity, is to add some hill repeats into one run per week. Alternatively, you might seek some outdoor routes with rolling hills incorporated throughout the run. 3🔹Strategic Planning Summer and fall race goals may be coming into clearer focus right now… Take the time you need for a proper buildup and logical pace progressions. No need to hurry your efforts at goal pace right away- no matter how much energy the sunshine seems to be infusing into your strides! What else? Comment with any springtime #running tips you’re planning to use 🤗

The power of #streaks ! 104 weeks of workouts with our Peloton Tread! 2 YEARS! I feel so proud of this (yes, I am celebrating a 2 year anniversary with my treadmill)... One of my mentors and favorite people, Taylor Jandik, CLF® always talks about the power of streaks and consistency in our personal and professional lives. What this streak represents to me is: -Showing my family that time for yourself is NOT selfish. It powers you up so you can be the best for yourself and others. -Something is always better than nothing. With littles at home, we have to be adaptable. So many days I had an awesome 45 or 60 minute workout tee'd up and then due to someone crying, waking up earlier than usual, or needing something from me, a quick 15 minute had to do. I love that the peloton offers various options that can be quick AND effective. -Commitments to yourself breed confidence. When you keep a promise to yourself and show up every day, you commit to other areas of your life even stronger and SHOW UP EVERYDAY! In these 104 weeks I lost my grandpa who was my hero, we grew our practice, my husband started a new career, we brought our little girl into the world, and so many other ups and downs! James Clear, in his book, Atomic Habits says "Don't miss twice". So, whatever it is you are trying to gain more consistency in your life, don't miss twice! That is the mantra I adopted on this journey. Here's to #streaks, #healthyhabits, #commitmentstoyourself, #pourfromafullcup What is a streak you are committing to in 2024?? Happy Tuesday!

Today marks my 1000th workout with Peloton, rounding off an unbroken 103-week streak! 🎉💪 My journey wasn't embarked upon alone. I owe a significant part of my success to these game-changing philosophies and support systems: ★4 Pillars of Energy: This helped me recognize and reinforce Body and Fitness as an essential foundation of my energy and wellbeing. ★Deliberate Practice: This not only drove me to stay consistent but also to learn from the fantastic instructors at Peloton. Remember, building a habit is a marathon, not a sprint. And it's the relentless practice that polishes perfection. ★5AM Club: The sacred early morning hours became my best ally, creating an oasis of focus and productivity. Moreover, a standing ovation to Blinkist/GO1 for curating a seamless work-from-home culture that saves me a daily commute of 1.5 hours. This bonus time has allowed me to prioritize my fitness. The results? I've become a power-packed reservoir of energy, with an almost non-existent sick leave record of 0.3% in the last 3.5 years and my motivation is at an all-time high. 🚀 (I'll add some links for deep dive in the comments)
