Another wonderful EUROoCS meeting came to an end! We had over 600 people joined us in Milan, with many old and new friends we spent 3 days discussing every aspect of Organ on Chip. 4 parallel sessions, 60 talks, 4 roundtables and many more. I had the pleasure of organising the Regulatory session together with Monica Piergiovanni starting with Sonja Beken setting the scene from the EMA perspective. Building on that, our joint IAB&RAB session that I chaired with Maurice Whelan to discuss the immediate bottlenecks of the field where EUROoCS can offer solutions, together with our expert panel Kimberly Homan, Ludovico Buti, Sonja Beken and Nicholas King. We had a lively discussion with the audience on the regulatory relevant Context of Use, internal vs regulatory qualification and applications beyond the world of pharma. Chairing the infectious diseases and vaccines session together with Enrico Cavarzerani was a pleasure with learning the updates from Inno4Vac project to rapid efficacy testing of mRNA based vaccines in lymph node on chip model, the session was full of exciting developments. I enjoyed every moment of being part of the SOC and doing my best to help out Marco Rasponi and Paola Occhetta in the huge task of organising this massive conference. They did an amazing job, everything was absolutely perfect. I again will be leaving another EUROoCS meeting and this time Milano with such sweet memories and hoping to come back soon. See you on the next one 😊 #EUROOCS24 #ooc #humandata #translational #annualconference #Milano
